Terms and Conditions for Prop Making Class at WyvaCon

  1. Registration and Commitment
    By registering for and participating in the prop-making class organized by WyvaCon, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”), I, the undersigned participant, agree to consider this application a binding commitment to attend the class. I understand and acknowledge that no refunds will be provided for registration fees after acceptance.

  2. Eligibility
    I affirm that I meet all eligibility criteria for participation in the class as specified by the Organizer. This includes, but is not limited to, age restrictions (18+ or 16+ with adult supervision).

  3. Code of Conduct
    I agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and codes of conduct set forth by the Organizer during the class. This includes respecting the safety and rights of other participants, as well as refraining from any behavior that may disrupt the event.

  4. Waiver of Liability/Assumption of Risk
    I acknowledge that participation in the prop-making class involves the use of hot and sharp tools, which carry inherent risks of physical injury, and I hereby assume and accept those risks. I confirm that I am capable of using these tools safely and agree to release WyvaCon, Inc., any volunteers or affiliates of WyvaCon, Inc., the Wytheville Meeting Center, as well as their employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates from any liability for injuries or harm that may occur during my participation. I also understand that WyvaCon, Inc. and its volunteers and affiliates are not responsible for any property damage or loss during the class.

  5. Personal Responsibility
    I agree to assume full responsibility for my personal belongings and equipment while attending the class. The Organizer and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

  6. Disqualification
    The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify or remove any participant who violates the class rules or engages in disruptive or unsafe behavior, without refund of registration fees.

  7. Amendments
    The Organizer reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time, with notice provided to registered participants. It is the participant’s responsibility to review and understand any updates.

  8. Payment Authorization
    If I, the undersigned participant, am using a credit card or payment method that does not belong to me to register for the class, I certify that I have obtained full permission and authorization from the credit card owner to use their card for this purpose. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless WyvaCon, Inc., the Wytheville Meeting Center, and their affiliates from any claims or disputes arising from the use of another person’s credit card for my registration.
